These beautiful hamsa studs are made from 925 sterling silver and come in two options, blue lab opal or white lab opal. Normally I pride myself on having only genuine stones in my shop, but being as the hamsas themselves represent and symbolize so much, I made an exception. I also love the look of opal, but its a little pricier than my other items, so I wanted to make these more accessible to everyone. These are 9mm with pushback closure.

The Hamsa is known worldwide and in many faiths as protection from evil and as a bearer of good luck and fortune. Hasmas are also used and associated with fertility.
Hamsas represent different things in many different religions; they are all beautiful explanations. One example is Hinduism where it represents energy flow, the five senses and their mudras. In addition each finger represents a different chakra.
Thumb: fire/solar plexus chakra
Index finger: air/heart chakra
Middle finger: ether/throat chakra
Ring finger: earth/root chakra
Pinky finger: water/sacral chakra
